Want a special treat? Take a stunning ride up the Alyeska Tram to Seven Glaciers Restaurant. The view alone is amazing! In June 2024 the restaurant's only offering is a 7 course tasting for 125/pp. Portions are small but there is a significant amount of highly creative, delicious treats starting with a shrimp ceviche, followed by a world-class scallop bisque, Panzanella salad, handmade squid ink pasta stuffed with crab, sole and shellfish, poached Chilean Sea Bass with champagne miso sauce, Wagyu with carmelized onions and your choice of a blueberry tart or chocolat cremeux.

This restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience perched atop the stunning peaks of Girdwood, Alaska. But to secure a table, I recommend advance reservations—sometimes months ahead. Also, dining guests enjoy a complimentary tram ride to the summit, adding breathtaking views. The menu currently features a three- or four-course dinner selection, showcasing fine ingredients and proper preparation. We indulged in the Filet of Beef, cooked to a flawless tenderness, and the Honey-Glazed King Salmon, perfectly balanced with sweetness and a buttery texture. Each dish exemplified care, and the appreciation for quality cuisine. Beyond the exceptional food, the service was warm and attentive, ensuring every detail contributed to a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. Between great flavors, awe-inspiring mountain views, and perfect hospitality, the experience is well worth the investment—an essential culinary destination for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the grandeur of Alaska.

Highly recommend! Wonderful tram ride up to the restaurant. It was cloudy and rainy when we went but we still enjoyed the view and atmosphere. Food was delicious! The salmon and the raspberry tart were my favorite of the evening. Great spot for a celebratory dinner!

What a lovely escape. The best courses we have had yet. The tram up to the restaurant and views at the top are unbeatable. We had a booth in a corner to ourselves looking out over a window and you can just see so much. It is amazing. The top favorite of the night was the scallop lobster bisque, but it was pretty hard to pick a favorite because every course, vegetarian and meat, were delicious. We had a great server and will definitely be back.

Took the tram up the mountain to enjoy the scenery and have some lunch. The scenery was fantastic, food and drinks were great! We had to be clever for parking down the bottom but it wasn't too bad. The people were very friendly.

I had never been here and was ecstatic to see that they were offering a full vegan menu for the Anchorage Vegan Chef challenge. My husband decided to treat me to the experience and I’m so glad we went. We got fancy and the views were lovely. I was impressed with their vegan 7 course dinner. It was clear that a lot of thought and care had gone into its creation. My only feedback was that the squash and eggplants could have been cooked slightly longer but the flavors on everything were SPOT on!

This is an award winning restaurant and for good reason. It’s a set dinner menu. Cost is 125 per person. The food is amazing and the view is too. The service is attentive and they don’t rush your meal. Ours lasted almost two hours. We had wine and the cost with tax was 362. So expect 300 and tip. if you’re doing wine or drinks with your meal. I have attached photos. We had the beef Tartar, green salad, sourdough bread (bread is an additional cost), crab bisque (comes with one scallop, but you can add more), beef tenderloin, raspberry pink tart, and goat cheesecake. Do try this place!
